Free trial pass (1 or 7 days, by club)
New customers who are local residents of a participating club (live or work nearby). 18 or older, valid ID required. Most clubs charge non-residents a drop-in fee. Pass length (1 or 7 days) and terms vary by club.
No published end date.
Up to 2 months of Apple Fitness+ with the free trial
New Anytime Fitness customers who are local residents of a participating US or Canada club; photo ID required. Redeemed in the Anytime Fitness app on an iPhone. Prior Fitness+ subscribers get 1 month, but Apple IDs already tied to a Fitness+ trial or subscription are listed as not eligible. After the trial the card on file is charged $9.99/month until cancelled. One per Family Sharing group.
No published end date.
Club join promos with published terms ($0 enrollment, Join for $1, 2 months free, 6 weeks free, $100 membership credit)
Every one of these requires a minimum 12-month membership and is offered club by club, not chain-wide. The Join for $1 and 2-months-free terms say "other fees may apply"; the 6-weeks-free terms say they "will apply." The $100 credit must be used within 120 days at the home club and cannot pay enrollment fees, security fees or retail. All but Join for $1 say not valid with any other offer.
No published end date.
Student, senior, military and insurance discounts
Corporate FAQ says the chain offers them but each location decides whether to opt in. Ask your club before signing.

How Anytime Fitness pricing works
Anytime Fitness is a franchise, and each club sets its own dues, enrollment fee and contract options. The corporate membership page says so in plain words: “Membership pricing varies depending on location,” and the FAQ page puts the average at $53 per month (checked 09/28/2026). Some clubs sell 6, 12 and 18-month terms; ask the club whether it offers month to month. The club page in the gym finder is the only place the real price shows, and the sales desk decides which corporate promos it runs.
What you get is the same everywhere: 24/7 entry with a key fob or the Access Pass in the app, use of every club in the network, and the Apple Fitness+ bundle. Showers are standard; lockers, saunas and hydromassage depend on the owner.
The free trial pass, and how to actually use it
The trial is real but gated. The try-us-free page on 09/28/2026 says passes “are only available for new customers who live or work nearby,” that most clubs charge non-residents a drop-in fee, and that you may be charged if you cannot prove local residency. The published terms add 18 or older, valid ID, participating clubs only.
How to redeem: pick a club on the try-us-free page, submit the form, then go in during staffed hours with ID. Expect a tour and the membership pitch. Use the pass to check the one thing a 24/7 gym has to get right: whether the racks and benches are free at the hour you would train. Some clubs give 1 day instead of 7. Visitors who are not local can ask the club about its paid single-entry pass; the FAQ says to call the club for its one-day pass policy and price.
The join promos and what they cost you
Each of the five join offers in the table requires “purchase of a minimum 12-month” membership in its published terms on the corporate terms page, so they are discounts on a one-year commitment, not on a month-to-month plan. Using the corporate $53 average to compare a 12-month term:
| Promo (club opt-in) | What it removes | 12-month dues at $53 | Effective monthly |
|---|---|---|---|
| None | Nothing | $636 plus enrollment | $53 plus fees |
| $0 enrollment or Join for $1 | The enrollment fee only | $636 | $53 |
| 6 weeks free | About 1.4 months of dues | $562 | $46.83 |
| 2 months free | 2 months of dues | $530 | $44.17 |
| $100 membership credit | $100, used within 120 days | $536 | $44.67 |
Two months free is the strongest of the set on a plain 12-month term. The $100 credit is close: it can go toward dues or services such as personal training or recovery at your home club (not enrollment fees, security fees or retail), and it must be used within 120 days of activation. “Other fees will apply” appears in the 6-weeks-free terms (the Join for $1 and 2-months-free terms say “may apply”), and none of the terms list those fees. Get the total first-year figure in writing before you initial anything.
Fees, exclusions and the fine print worth reading
- Billing runs through ABC Financial (888-827-9262), not the club. Card changes and double charges go there; cancellation follows the agreement you signed, since every club’s policy is “outlined in the membership agreement.”
- Auto-renewal depends on the agreement. The FAQ says the membership renews at the end of the term “if you initialed for automatic renewal in your membership agreement.” The 2-months-free terms, however, say the membership “will automatically renew at the regular monthly rate,” and the 6-weeks-free terms say it “automatically renews until cancelled,” so ask the club how renewal and cancellation work on your promo before you sign.
- A missed payment “may result in a late payment fee.”
- Lost key fob means a replacement “for a small fee,” and staff will not let you tailgate in behind another member.
- Transfers are free to another club if you move more than 10 miles or simply use a different club more, though your dues can change with the new home club.
- Discounts are local. Student, senior, military and insurance discounts exist chain-wide in principle; “it is up to each location to opt-in.” HSA and FSA funds may be usable, per the FAQ, but only after a $15 Dr. B virtual consultation that results in a Letter of Medical Necessity; you then submit your receipts and the letter to your HSA or FSA administrator for reimbursement.
- No pool, no basketball court, no child care. Children cannot be on the floor unless they are members.
The cheapest honest path
- Take the free trial pass at the club you would actually use. If you are not local and cannot get one, ask the club for the price of its paid single-entry pass instead of guessing.
- Ask which corporate promo the club is running this month and whether it opts in to the student, senior, military or insurance discount.
- Price a 12-month term with the promo against the club’s shorter or month-to-month rate, if it has one. The promo only wins if you will still be training there in month 10.
- Ask whether your promo auto-renews (the 2-months-free and 6-weeks-free terms say it does), keep the ABC Financial number, and photograph the signed agreement.
Then and now
This site did not cover Anytime Fitness in 2011 and 2012. Today the key fob still opens the door, the app’s Access Pass does too, and the free trial pass comes with an Apple Fitness+ trial. No corporate promo code was published on anytimefitness.com on 09/28/2026.
Affiliate program status
Checked 09/28/2026: no affiliate, ambassador or partner program is listed on anytimefitness.com, in its footer, or on shop.anytimefitness.com (the footer offers a franchise page and a “Preferred Vendors” page for franchisees, not publishers). Program status is recorded as none found; this page uses plain links only and will be updated if a network listing appears.
This merchant runs no affiliate program. Links here earn nothing.
Questions people ask
How much does an Anytime Fitness membership cost?
Pricing is set by each franchised club. The corporate FAQ on 09/28/2026 put the average at $53 per month, and the club pages on anytimefitness.com show the local number. Expect an enrollment or key fee on top unless a promo waives it, and budget for a small replacement fee if you lose the key fob.
Is there an Anytime Fitness promo code?
None was published on anytimefitness.com on 09/28/2026. The offers with published terms ($0 enrollment, Join for $1, 2 months free, 6 weeks free, $100 credit) are run by participating clubs when you sign a 12-month agreement. Any site showing a typed code is guessing.
Does the free trial pass have a catch?
Three conditions. You must be a new customer, you must live or work near the club (proof of local residency can be requested), and you must be 18 or older with valid ID. Non-residents can be charged a drop-in fee instead. Some clubs give 1 day instead of 7.
Can I use any Anytime Fitness in the world?
Yes. Membership includes access to all 6,000+ locations using the key fob or the Access Pass in the app, and the chain calls the club you join your home club. The corporate site did not state a waiting period on 09/28/2026; ask your home club whether one applies to you.
Is Anytime Fitness on Commission Junction?
Not that this site can find. On 09/28/2026 the corporate site, its footer and the shop had no affiliate, partner or ambassador page, only a franchise page and a franchisee vendor page. Links on this page are plain informational links.
