What Bodybuilding.com is today

Bodybuilding.com had its own promo-code page on this site in 2012. The old page here listed stacked dollar-off codes ($5 off $100 through $20 off $300), free samples and a free T-shirt with a $150 order, all delivered through Commission Junction links. None of that exists anymore.

On 09/28/2026 the address www.bodybuilding.com redirects to shop.bodybuilding.com, a Shopify storefront. The footer and the Terms of Use name Dynamo Group LLC, 1 Town Center Road, Boca Raton, FL as the company behind it. The About Us page keeps the Boise origin story (founded 1999 by Ryan and Karen DeLuca, early online creatine seller, Signature Series launched 2018). Wikipedia’s history covers the middle: Liberty Media bought a controlling stake in 2008, and the forums, once the biggest fitness community on the web, closed in September 2024.

The catalog changed with the ownership. The homepage banner on 09/28/2026 read “Optimum Nutrition + BSN are coming back, get notified”, so two brands that featured on the 2012 promo page (BSN NO-Xplode, Optimum 100% Whey) are not in stock. What is for sale is the house Signature Series (whey, isolate, creatine monohydrate, electrolytes, CLA) plus a short list of partner brands: EVLUTION Nutrition, C4 and XTEND, Nutrex, Redcon1, MuscleMeds, Axe & Sledge, EHP Labs, Mutant and Thentic. The store also pushes “BB Health+” (a GLP-1 telehealth assessment) and a peptides line. This site covers neither; prescription weight-loss drugs are a conversation with a clinician, not a coupon.

Two items on the rewards page matter more than the point rate. Points cannot be added after an order is placed, so generate the redemption code first. And a returned order takes its points back out of your balance.

The cheapest honest path to an order

1. Buy Signature during the buy 1 get 1 50% window only if you use two units. Signature creatine monohydrate (90 servings) sold for $26.99 and the 5 lb whey for $85.49 on 09/28/2026, each already marked 10% down from $29.99 and $94.99. The half-price second unit takes another 25% off the pair (two creatine tubs came to $40.49 in the cart), but two 5 lb tubs of whey is a lot of powder to finish before the best-by date.
2. Create the free account before paying. Five points per dollar on a $100 order is $5 back on the next one, plus $2 on your birthday. That matches the 5% the old $5-off-$100 code gave, and it needs no code, though it arrives as credit on your next order.
3. Get the subtotal over $99.99 with Signature or EVL items, or pay $10.99 shipping (per the Shipping in the U.S. article). The support article says the subtotal after discounts has to clear the threshold and drop-shipped vendor items never qualify. A $95 cart plus $10.99 shipping costs more than a $105 cart.
4. Check the cart before subscribing on a first order. The Subscribe & Gain page says both that you save on the first order and that the first order is charged the advertised price; the cart line shows which one applies. Changes or cancellation need 48 hours’ notice before the next shipment, so subscribe once you know you like the flavor.
5. Verify military or first responder status once. Once approved, the 10% applies to every order without a code; the program page does not say whether it combines with the cart sales, so check the cart.

Exclusions and fees to read before you pay

• The refund policy gives 7 days from delivery, unopened only, minus shipping and handling. Opened tubs are not returnable, so buy the small size of a new flavor first.

For a proven basic like creatine monohydrate or a plain whey isolate, the current Bodybuilding.com catalog is thin and mostly its own label. Transparent Labs, Legion Athletics and Momentous sell the same basics with third-party testing, and The Vitamin Shoppe carries Optimum Nutrition and BSN while the “coming back” banner is unresolved. The help center still hosts an Affiliate Program article, but the page it links to (bodybuilding.com/store/affiliate.htm) returned HTTP 404 on 09/28/2026 and the 2012 Commission Junction links are dead. No live program was found; this page carries no commissioned link.
